Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Vs Yahoo Mail Bug Fight

yahoo

So apparently there is a bug that was discovered in Windows Phone 7 that while using Yahoo Mail there are phantom data usages which is very bad if you are not on an unlimited data plan and go over.  Tuesday Microsoft announced that the Yahoo mail was the cause of this phantom data.

Then later on Tuesday Yahoo fired back and issued a statement saying Microsoft’s IMAP implementation was unique on Windows Phone 7 devices, and this was the root cause of the problem.

Now today a computer programmer named Rafael Rivera did some tests of his own and published on his blog that the Yahoo IMAP bug also affects other phones and one in particular the Iphone.  Yahoo has yet to respond back.

No shit Yahoo! Stop pointing the blame and fix your old ass email service that no one uses.  People either use hotmail, their ISP’s email or my favorite GMail.  All of these have no problems in sending and receiving email on our phones so obviously its your problem Yahoo!  It just shows your character of business when you point fingers and instead of stating we see the problem and are working with Microsoft in fixing it.  This is why your search engine is dying.  Let’s face it you are going the way of AOL.

On a lighter note lots of exciting new phones are coming out!  Ones I am most excited to see video on are HTC’s Thunderbolt on Verizon.  AT&T has the HTC Inspire. Nice to see AT&T finally adopting Android.  TMobile has a rumored phone called the HTC Phantom which will be a phone to watch for them.  Not a whole lot on Sprint. They are still rocking the EVO 4G and their EVO 4G shift which are still great phones.  Oh just forgot Iphone preorders went on sale with Verizon Smile with tongue out

Tell me your thoughts my friends.
