Get More: Beavis and Butt-Head, MTV Shows
Here is the trailer for the new Beavis and Butthead show. Its scheduled to make its return in October of 2011 on MTV. There hasn’t been a Beavis and Butthead out for 14 years. This trailer looks great. Instead of music videos they are going to make fun of Jersey Shore and other viral videos. If you are a fan and even if you aren’t check it out anyways. The question is will new teenagers growing up enjoy it as much as our generation did?? I think it appeals to many ages so I am hoping it will.
I've got mixed feelings about this. I love the concept of it but think with MTV as the vessel, its potential will be severely limited. When The Dudesons in America came on for its first season it was cancled after a few episodes then relaunched at 2am a couple months later. Then this past june they came out with another season of The Dudesons and only lasted the 2 episodes on premeir night. They shut it down without reasoning so you can only think the network ensors didnt approve then they come out with stupid wolf shows and reality shows one after another. MTV has changed alot aince Beavis and Butthead was originally aired on it and I feel they will closely censor what Judge can and cant do. I know it would never happen but the show would derr be better off on comedy central
ReplyDeleteI am not gonna lie DJ I do not know WTF the Dudesons is LOL. Beavis and Butthead already has a cult following and will be way more popular than the Dudesons so do not fear about that. Also I am sure MTV will let Mike Judge get away with alot I mean look at what Jersey Shore and the Real World get away with so have no fear about that one either!! As for comedy central Viacom owns Comedy Central and MTV so it is not that far fetched but I am sure they wanted it on MTV so they can watch Jersey Shore and other MTV shows etc. Expect them to make fun of Teen Wolf and that stupid Teen Moms shows.
