Shocker: Amy Winehouse Has Died

I am gonna go out on a limb here and say that nobody was really shocked that Amy Winehouse died.  I mean lets face it the woman has been seen walking around all drugged and and stumbling numerous times.  Not to mention she was never able to finish rehab and her last performance was so god-awful that she had to cancel the rest of her tour because she couldn’t sing right nor perform.  There were numerous times she would have cocktails with a plethora of drugs in it and now low and behold a new source claims:

Sordid details surrounding Amy Winehouse’s tragic death have emerged, with claims that she bought a cocktail of narcotics including cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine in her final hours. Although police has not yet released the exact cause of her death, it is claimed she was seen buying drugs from a dealer in Camden just after 10:30pm on Friday, reports the Daily Mail.

Now that is a yummy cocktail.  Now for those who are not aware Ketamine is a Horse Tranquilizer.  Yes it knocks out a huge behemoth horse.  Who knows what it would do to a 95lb woman. Here is a video of her last performance.

She can barely sing.  She stares off into space and I am surprised she didn’t get boo’d off stage LOL.  Even Amy’s Mom was not surprised about her death. Now here comes my rant.

I am not denying that she had talent and could sing.  She had one really good album that had a few singles and one major hit.  I am not saying she couldn’t have done more but don’t compare her to other people in the 27 Club.  She did not do nearly as much and was not as epic as they were.  Who else is in the 27 club?? We have Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.  DO NOT COMPARE HER TO THEM.  They had millions of hits and did one drug of choice (that we know of).  Not to mention they never messed up any of their performances that they were BOO’D off stage.  Their music is still played on the radio today and everyday.  Since Amy Winehouse died I haven’t even heard her one hit Rehab on the radio.  Adele sounds just like her and has two hits on the radio playing and I have no doubt is going to be way more popular musically than Amy ever would have been.  Amy was talented and just loved one thing too much, unfortunately it wasn’t her music it was her drugs.  I close this rant out with an awesome acoustic cover of Rehab by non other than the new lead singer of Sublime
