The main character looks just like a Brad Pitt stunt double. I actually had to look it up because I wasn't quite sure if it was Brad Pitt or not LOL. The story itself was very good and went very quickly. I always enjoy mythology and the Greek God movies. Even better that this was a comic and endorsed by Marvel. It also has Natalie Portman in it as the scientist nerd babe that Thor meets on Earth. It also has Kat Dennings who was known for Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and of course the oldest daughter in Big Momma's House. Anthony Hopkins plays Thor's Father the King of the Asgard planet. Another character who I really love is Ray Stephens who was in Rome but he didn't have a very serious role. Another actress in the movie I recognized is Jaimie Alexander who I recognized from a show I used to watch Kyle XY. I am still bitter about that being cancelled ABC Family!!
Like I said the movie was very well done. The acting was well done and the story moved quickly. The special effects looked great. It could have had some better fight scenes and a few more fight scenes but overall the movie was decent. They mix in a little romantic love story in it too which added to the already dynamic story.
Overall I rate this movie 4 out of 5. It ended well and set it up for a sequel of course. Sorry I didn't spoil anything its already booked for Thor 2 on imdb.com. Let me know what you all think when you watch it?? I highly recommend it if you love Iron Man and Xmen series.
