Ok Britney Spears took home the first award and totally lip synced her entire acceptance speech. I kid, she really didn't. That was a pretty good song Britney. It would be a great concert to see her Nicki Minaj. Now what do you get when you take two of the biggest rappers and put them together?? Now most people would think brilliant or epic stuff. Nope, worst performance of the night goes to Jay-Z and Kanye West. It just sounded like yelling out random stuff and had no flow. Sorry guys your album blows but that is another story. Katy Perry took home a few awards including one for E.T. with Kayne West who went up with her or course. She totally pwned him by saying its ok now you can take the mic from me. That was great, he looked so pissed then.
Lady Gaga performed as a guy in drag which she actually did for the video of You and I. She is such a good singer and by far the best performer of the night. I know many of you will disagree with me but that is ok. I don't really care what you think ;) Adele is simply amazing. Her performance was boring just standing there but when you got pipes like she does, nobody cares. MTV always finds a way to give out awards to groups nobody has heard of. And Best New Artist went to Tyler The Creator. I guess I will have to google that one since I have no clue who he is. Maybe I am just getting too old??
My favorite highlight of the night was the Beavis and Butthead commercials. They were making fun of the shake weights and they did a funny skit with Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj had a pretty sweet outfit made of glass or something. I am all for the crazy outfits made of meat or glass or anything. It is like what Halloween is to us to the artists at the VMA's. I am very proud of Nicki not having a nip slip the entire night!! You go girl!! She won an award to as she should, she is a crazy rapper and has pipes to sing. She is definitely my favorite female rapper.
Finally onto Lil Wayne. A few years ago, I never heard of Lil Wayne, I know I am a little slow. He is grown on my over the years and now I am a huge fan. If anyone can pull off the pants halfway down your ass its him. Guy is completely covered in tattoos including a bunch on his face. He has long black dreads and now he has diamond teeth and looks like a piercing on his cheek. See what I mean about Halloween?? Perfect guy a girl would want to take home to her parents. Anyways I am very curious to how he brushes his teeth with the diamonds in em. I don't believe they are grills that you can just take out but I could be wrong. Please someone let me know. Sure enough I was right, he did have his pants halfway down. How they don't fall all the way down is beyond me. He must have a secret, someone share that with me too how you can do it without them falling down. Now MTV why do you ask for Lil Wayne to perform and then just space out everything he says. Yes Lil Wayne does swear and that is fine, space them out but why do you space out "choppa"?? Oh I just looked up its a reference to a gun. It can also be a motorcycle. Maybe Lil Wayne was talking about a motorcycle MTV!! You can show trashy reality tv about threesomes and pregnant whore teens but you can't say a gun reference??? LOL. Ok now my rant and review is done so go download his new cd from Itunes that was just released!!
