PS4 production to begin later this year? -- Engadget

PS4 production to begin later this year? -- Engadget: "According to these anonymous insiders, Sony has a planned production run of 20 million consoles for launch -- all headed straight to eBay, we imagine. It should go without saying that news of this kind should be taken with a mouthful of salt, but with the PS3 turning five this November, it's a safe bet that there's a successor to the 'It Only Does Everything' throne on the way."

Now Don't you think this is a bad idea Sony. Your loyal customers have already shelled out some serious dough to buy you overpriced console because you threw in a bluray player in it and made it very expensive. Then you got hacked like crazy and all your loyal customers info got leaked including credit card info. Now you want people to shell out more money in 2012 for a new console?? Granted this is just a rumor but Sony please say its not true. My money will be for Xbox 720 or whatever their new console will be. Assuming it doesn't overheat of course like the last ones LOL. As much as I like bluray movies and their size and quality I really think the next generation console will be medialess. Contain all the games on the "cloud" and let them all stream to our console. In return they can have cheaper games. When you purchase the game have it download to the hard drive. Hard drives are very cheap in price nowadays and can store many games on em. What do you guys all think???
