Movie Review: Puss In Boots-2011

Synopsis: Years before meeting Shrek and Donkey, the adorable but tricky Puss in Boots must clear his name from all charges making him a wanted fugitive. While trying to steal magic beans from the infamous criminals Jack and Jill, the hero crosses paths with his female match, Kitty Softpaws, who leads Puss to his old friend, but now enemy, Humpty Dumpty. Memories of friendship and betrayal enlarges Puss' doubt, but he eventually agrees to help the egg get the magic beans. Together, the three plan to steal the beans, get to the Giant's castle, nab the golden goose, and clear Puss' name.

 You are familiar with this character if you have ever seen the Shrek Movies.  He is he adorable cat who's voice is of Antonio Banderas who loves to show his cute eyes to get his way.  This movie is a spinoff of that character and I gotta say I enjoyed this one.  I am a big fan of the Shrek movies and if you are too, then I suggest you watch this one.  It had its funny moments and of course has its fairy tale spin..of Jack and The Beanstalk.  Humpty Dumpty is played by Zach Galfinakis and Kitty Softpaws's voice is Salma Hayek.

I rate this movie 4 out of 5. It if very cute and your kids will especially enjoy it.  It isn't over the top funny like the first two Shrek movies but it is still very enjoyable nonetheless.  I recommend this movie to anyone who likes the Shrek movies and other Dreamworks films.  I am not sure if they are doing a sequel to this one but I sure hope so!
